National Parks in India are made for conservation purposes like for preserving animals by providing natural habitat to them. They are created and protected by government. Their boundaries are well defined and no private activities are allowed inside the National Parks.

Activities which are not permitted in them are :-

  1.  Poaching
  2.  Hunting
  3.  Forestry
  4.  Cultivation
  5.  Industrial activities
  6.  Development projects
