India has faced many battles/ wars since time immemorial. These battles influenced our culture in a significant manner. These battles in Indian history were fought between different dynasties and kingdoms.

15) | Battle of Haldighati or Battle of Gogunda | 1576 | Fought between Maharana Pratap and Akbar. Here, from Akbar side Raja Man Singh 1 of Amber fought. This battle was a futile victory for the Mughals as they could not capture the great Rajput ruler Maharana Pratap. |

19) | Battle of Wandiwash | 1760 | British decisively defeated the French in India. There were 3 Carnatic wars fought between English and French and this battle was a part of 3rd Carnatic war. After this war, French remains mere only a trading company. |
